The FAOBMB Young Scientist Award is awarded only in the year in which a Congress is held. For 2018, two awards will be given to highly qualified young scientists, one male and one female, from the FAOBMB region. The Young Scientist Awardees will receive awards and will present their work at the 24th IUBMB-15th FAOBMB Congress, to take place in Seoul, Korea, 4-9 June, 2018.
Please note that applicants must be no more than 35 years of age at the closing date for applications, 1 December 2017. For this purpose the date of birth of applicants must not be earlier than 1 December 1982.
All applications are to be sent to the Secretary General of FAOBMB by the due date, 1 December 2017, as set out in the Guidelines and the Application Form for the YSA.
The awardees will also be invited to participate in the Young Scientist Program associated with the Seoul Congress, preliminary details of which will become available in due course, on the Congress website at: http://www.iubmb2018.org/
